He says that I need to have patience, but I feel that he is stringing me along. Should I wait it out or tell him off or just go on with dating others?

He says that he likes me, but that if I need more attention then he is giving that I am going to have to get it elsewhere. And to be honest he doesn't really make me happy. So I guess I have my answer. lol
