Your last couple of sentences, so very true! Married, divorced or single, he will still be what he is. You're very smart to see that. I'm wishing you a very bright future! Thank you, FoG. I do wish I had seen it sooner... I'd be in a very different place right now if so. But you can't change the past so all I can do is continue to learn. It's been one hard lesson. Hey HH, I've been doing a lot of that head clearing myself and been away from LS. I'm so glad you are feeling good and have done what you think is best for you. I'm in a good place too, I just think it is going to take me a while to adjust to feeling 'normal' again. Hearing someone else is feeling sorted helps though! I think a good place would be pushing where I am, right now... but I am on my way. I'm also glad you're on your way to that too, lilbunny. It does take a while. We'll get there. So far my normal does consist of sad moments, but it's no longer the sadness of missing him ,it's the sadness of missing me... it's taken its toll and I don't think I'm completely back to the chirpy person I used to be, but I am determined. HAZY!!!!!!!!!! Do you want to know how happy I was to read this post???? Please don't take it as some will that I don't want you happy --- because that is so far from the truth. I am thrilled that you have closed that chapter of your life. You deserve so much more than him and all his drama. I am so proud of you for NOT pursing anything with him. You go GIRL!!! Thank you FO. The drama is such a massive drain... it's not for me. I know you want me to be happy I always appreciate that. I will be. I honestly think I could never have been with him; the trust would not come to me and for good reason. I'll get me back. Hugs. I have to say I do feel better every day as I pull emotionally further and further away from him. I think about him less and my thoughts... well, they're not of the wistful 'I wonder what hes doing' type, but more that he springs into my head upon triggers. Or, sometimes, I feel sad that it had to end with animosity - that he pushed it to that point. I'm looking forward to the future. I know I need to be on my own for a bit, but after that, I can't wait to date again, and somebody who's physically and emotionally free to me. Or a few somebodies Thanks for asking. Love ya x
