Face furniture is unflattering on 90% of the population I do have contacts. But I've now got glasses because the optician thinks I may not be able to continue wearing contacts. I'll be seeing her again next week to see what happens. If I can't continue wearing contacts I'm going to get laser eye surgery. I really appreciate the kind comments from everyone. (Well, maybe not if you're not intelligent, sweet and makes me smile but otherwise totally! ) I'd ask you to reconsider laser surgery because if you do and something did go wrong (some people get side effects like pain in the eyes or really sensitive to sun light) you'd forever regret it...just make sure you marry a woman who loves you regardless of your glasses.

Sorry. I can't speak for everyone else of course but I meant what I said........and I strongly object to you questioning my honesty. Seriously, what purpose would it serve to be 'kind' to a complete stranger on the internet? Have you seen some of the things people say to each other on here? I don't believe anyone is just trying to make you feel better - we all have different opinions on here and some of us genuinely think the glasses are a good look for you.

You shouldn't wear something you don't feel sexy in, try different styles, colours, and rimless/rimmed. I wear glasses too, and at first, I hated them, felt ugly and sexless in them too, now I am so used to them, and love my new ones. You do definitely look better with them.

There's nothing ugly or weird about you. I thought the same thing - I was expecting a troll given the way you've downed yourself, but you actually look like a nice normal guy. You kind of remind me of my boyfriend around the eyes and nose, though he has darker hair. I think you suit glasses, and the ones you have look fine, but you might have looked more fashionable in something a bit more funky with heavy dark frames. Glasses aren't some kind of weird disability or something. Millions of people wear them every day. The trick is to buy some that a) fit with your face (which you have done), and b) have a look that you feel comfortable with. I wear both glasses and contacts. If a man turned me down because I use glasses, we'd be pretty incompatible to start off with.

Sorry if you don't believe me but ah well, it's true. My fiance never wears his around me and I wish he would. Some people are so weird about glasses.
