lovesparis Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 you get what you think you wanted? when all your dreams come true? is it everything you thought it would be?
january2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Depending on what it is, getting it can be anti-climactic and I usually question its value. Note to self: must stop doing that.
errlack Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 When you reconcile? It's very easy to forget what happened and make the same mistakes again.
SimonSerenade Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 I second that, My ex never changed after the first time she broke up with me and I doubt she'd change if there was to be a second time, As far as I'm concerned she smashed my dreams, I don't want her any more and nothing would ever be how I'd imagine it to be, It never is again after they put you through this kind of stuff.
Duckduckgoose Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Be careful what you ask for because you just might get it.
Author lovesparis Posted January 31, 2011 Author Posted January 31, 2011 yeah... i think there are things we think we want, but when we get them we don't realize what we gave up to get them... that there are unknown costs. what are we willing to give up to get what we think we want? can we get them back if we realize we made a mistake? what happens when you get everything you think you want, and realize you're not as happy as you thought you'd be? rhetoric, really... but feel free to answer/add to it.
