colliejoanie Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I left my ex husband two years ago. Divorce was final ten months ago. We are just now going through the custody battle. And it's been a battle. I've dated......I think I even loved.......and am now in the game again. Kicking and screaming. But my ex.......even though I'm strong and healed and empowered........crept in today. I drove by a Starbucks. The same one I've driven by for nearly two years. And there was a poster for a White Chocolate mocha latte......same poster I see every day. But today, it was sunny. Like it was one time when we went through the drive through........years ago and states away. And we were laughing. He had whip cream on his nose and didn't know it. I kept trying to get it off for him and he kept thinking I was going to tweek his nose. We were laughing. Funny how they creep in.........even when they're askholes.
