so, about 6 weeks ago, i discovered that my now ex girlfriend of 2 years, had been "emotionally" cheating on me, as well as possibly having kissed a guy. shortly after, we broke up, and she became a total b****. 22 days ago i initiated NC, and have been doing great. I feel as if i have my confidence back, i have been working out, and socializing more than ever. Thing is though, in less than 2 days time, the NC will be broken, as we resume classes this coming monday, and she is in 2 classes of mine.

i do not have lingering feelings for her anymore, and i feel mostly over it, but, i am afraid of a possible regression when i see her. Im also not sure exactly how to act around her when i see her.

if anybody has been in a similar situation, or has any input, it would be appreciated. :)

Keep yourself busy and you won't think about it.

I would smile and walk past her when you see her, trying to look as relaxed as possible. Sit far away from where she sits. If you don't have another person in class to talk to, bring an iPod/mp3 player to listen to some (not sad) music. That way you won't have to hear her conversation. Go out of your way to meet new students. And, when the class starts, act like it's the most fascinating thing you've ever encountered.

Whatever you do, don't reminisce. Good luck.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: I agree with this.

Also, there is nothing like making new friends. It's the most amazing distraction and when these people become friends, they become an awesome routine.

Enjoy the semester! Your ex is just dandruff on your shoulder - brush it off. :bunny:
