This girl I have been talking to and we like each other, she texted me last night at 11 when i was alseep saying *myname!* then she texted me 40 mintues later saying "alrightty. goodnight then.

"I texted her in the morning saying sorry i feel asleep :/" she said "its alright" and I said "it seemed like you were mad" she said "when" i said "nevermind" and she says "oh. no. i wasnt" the i said okay good :), we had a convo later and she ended it with "oh" it wasnt a very long one either. should I reply back and be like" I miss you :)", we havent hung out in three days

As I think you're finding, it's so easy to read the wrong 'tone' into words in a text message, especially when people can't/don't write in complete sentences.

Solution: Call her.

she told me that she doesnt like texting or talking on the phone, so that may be another reason.

Sounds like you haven't been seeing her for very long. If that's the case, do NOT text "I miss you". It sounds desperate and needy. It'll totally backfire on you.

meh, she wasn't mad. Also, don't ask if people are mad, they will trend towards being angry even if they aren't. Its like a subtle nuance of communication that is really important. Just assume people are happy, things go better that way.

From a woman's point of view, I think most girls/women find it cute (in a good way), if a guy they like texts them "I miss you :)". It's kinda sweet. But of course I don't know her, so I am just speaking generally. And also, do it only if you really feel that way.
