smashalasha Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 So I haven't met him in person yet but we've been talking online over a month now. We get along really well. This Saturday I'm going to be down in his town for something in the morning, and so I thought I could first find out if he is free on Saturday, then ask if he wants to meet up. Is there a BEST way to go about it though? Never really done this before, lol. Asking someone out OR doing it online without ever having met them first. I'm just thinking I want it to be pressure-free/casual. And I know money is tight for him, so maybe I should suggest a place where we could just sit and chat and don't have to order a full meal? And what would I do if he turned me down? As in, I want to be cool in handling that. Like suggest that it's his loss and I'll have fun without him. Which I would then DO of course. Thanks for the tips... haha it's not that I CAN'T do this on my own but I just wanna know the best way to go about it.
StalledGirl Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Why not just mention it in a casual way if you feel unable to ask him for a drink straight out? "I'll be visiting < name of town> this weekend , any ideas on where I should eat?" Sounds casual to me and a bit suggestive?
