Guitarjeff Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Been with this woman for a year now, long distance relationship. She informed me that we can't see each other in person for the foreseeable future. Looks like she is still hung up on her husband she is supposed to be getting a divorce from but keeps coming up with excuses why she won't actually file it. Our one year anniversary was Monday and I had written and recoded her a song, I have done many for her. This was her present to me, nice, huh? I broke it off so technically I am the dumper but I know that she has simply put up enough road blocks to drive our relationship out of her life but she was just too weak to dump me herself. So here I am, starting no contact and this pain is dibilitating to say the least. I volunteer here at one of our hospitals and today I was disoriented walking around because of this on my mind, actually forgetting where I was going while walking there. I am someone who writes and records songs on my laptop, I am a musician for a living (as meager a living as it is), and now I don't even feel I can write a song. I need NC help. The pain is so bad that I can't even focus enough to read a NC post with instructions on how to help. I know to stay busy and my hospital volunteering will help with that, and if I can write some songs and maybe express myself I know that will help. I guess I am hoping that my own NC thread here will help as I can express my thoughts and pain as I go through this. I wish there were a way that people in our situation could actually setup a phone-friend network so that we actually had a real voice to talk to and both parties could help each other by talking. Anyone want to share this together and have a human voice to share each others pain with? Thanks for listening.
