These cities were chosen using statistics on "education, contraceptive and erotica sales, number of gyms and the population's health, exercise habits, obesity and smoking rates in every city in the U.S." (taken from the slideshow) The 8 cities with the ugliest guys are: 8. Houston, TX 7. Philadelphia, PA 6. Detroit, MI 5. (tie) Mobile, AL & Huntington, W.Va. 4. Greensboro, NC 3. Miami, FL 2. Hagerstown, MD 1. carhill Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 So, how's dating going? In my neck of the woods, most of the guys LS'ers would commonly refer to as 'ugly' are married or have girlfriends. Ironically, I often see more 'good looking' single guys than 'ugly' single guys. So, at least here in my relatively rural location in California, the ladies should have 'good' pickings. By the miniscule amount of single ladies I encounter, I guess they do

According to the piece, Miami has "21 percent of men 25 and up who didn't make it past 9th grade, which is the highest rate in the cities studied", "gnarly teeth", and "more than 27 percent of people who don't exercise regularly".

Tons of the guys there look either busted (like halfway homeless) or like they're from Jersey Shore. You cannot find cute, preppie guys anywhere. But my type is more like out of a J. Crew catalogue, so what do I know?
