badshayshay Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 So my brother one night forced me to play COD with him, and ever since then I have became addicted to that game. A few days ago he left and went back to college because his break ended, and he took the game with him and I'm going crazy. I don't have an xbox or else I would just go buy the game. I have a wii, but I don't think they have they game for the wii. I have been working out and doing other things, but when I get bored I want to play COD. lol I am soooooo addicted.
Ajax Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 When I clicked on the link to this thread I thought you meant that you had an addiction to Cod, as in the fish. I thought it was hilarious. Obviously I'm not up on gaming, but I bought a wii the other day because I wanted wii Fit and they did have Call of Duty for wii, although I don't know how it stands up to other versions of the game.
0hpenelope Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Pick up the game controller instead of dwelling on the ex? Like!
Duckduckgoose Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Gaming instead of dwelling is a good idea. I have been playing WoW and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, as well as a lot of reading... and journalling and crap for counselling. Just don't get too addicted to your game. They are fun but if you use them as an escape from reality for too long they BECOME your reality... I see it too much in World of Warcraft which makes me keep close tabs on how much I play. There are not that many women gamers... so your chances of finding a woman obsessed with games too isn't that good. Keep 3/4 of yourself in reality and 1/4 in gaming.
amarie2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I have some friends that have COD for the Wii, they said its not the same experience as on xbox but I'm sure it would satisfy your current new addiction. I was addicted to that game once myself..lol I used to play it non-stop, thats actually how I met my ex, so I haven't been playing as much as I used too. Its crazy to think that game has actually broken up relationships before. Hopefully you can figure something out soon so you don't crazy!
marqueemoon4 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Modern Warfare was one of the many things that doomed my marriage. I have no intentions of playing video games again, makes me feel bad.
Sevenscars Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I love Black Ops. I'm addicted to it. Play it probably 3-4 times a week for an hour or two. They have it for the Wii, but it sucks with the motion controllers, it's better on Xbox/PS3. If you've got a PS3 hit me up in a private message for my gamer tag so I can own you
