bslchump Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 So my ex's birthday is coming up in early February and I don't really know what I should do. She left me, immediately started things up with a new guy, [insert horrible thing here], and probably kicked a few puppies while she was doing it. Now, we still live together (blargh. working on it), so I don't know how to act. I obviously am not buying her a gift or anything like that, but should I be cordial or should I just completely ignore it? My instinct tells me to wish her a happy birthday and then not acknowledge it again. Is that right?
Leandro Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Living together? I think you should just ignore it.

Leandro Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 sorry to hear that. Still ignore. That's her new man's job, don't boost her ego.
Duckduckgoose Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Ignore her. If you don't do it for yourself at least do it for all of us who want you to!
BlindRage Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 As she's walking past you, gut punch her (1 punch for every year). Just kidding. I have a bitter view of women that dump people right now. Anyways, just ignore her. Better yet go out that day and don't come home until around 1 a.m. Make sure when you come back home seem like you didn't even know it was her birthday. Don't acknowledge her existence.
