Hey guys!! Happy New Year :)

So my last posts everyone was really helpful. I did end up going out with him on NYE even though we had only been dating since Dec 5th. Anyway, since then I have met his sister, all his nieces and nephews and his son. The past 2 saturdays we have gone sledding with all the kids..sooooo much fun!!!!!!!! My only thing is that he never introduces me as his girlfriend. It's been almost 2 months. Last night we went out to eat and he ran into an old co-worker. He didn't even introduce me. Granted he said he didn't like the guy and the guy was drunk....but still rubbed me the wrong way. Anyway, how long does it take for a guy to say something...even jokingly about being his g/f? I am not used to it taking this long...something just seems off. I do see him 3-4 times a week. And he txts me every day which is nice :) I am going to wait and see what he does for V Day...what do you guys think? If you really like a girl do you say something or just let it move along if it's going well?

It depends on the guy. Some guys are slower than other. The slow ones constantly make you feel insecure and question everything they do even if they really care about you.

I personally think that he should be introducing you by now as his girlfriend, even if it's just to strangers.

If you're exclusive and you're having sex, your de-facto BF/GF anyway. I know a guy who was living with his girlfriend for 2 years and still introduced her as his 'office manager'. She successfully used me to get him to officially commit. Good girl. Perhaps there's some wisdom in that. :)

With me, you don't have to worry. By the time I get to exclusive and sex, a woman is demonstrably and publicly my girlfriend without any ambiguity. It's a great way to determine the relationship between want and attraction in a woman. Good luck :)

How does he introduce you?

I think I would need to clarify the title thing personally, after that length of time, but I'm a LTR-towards-marriage phase, and I really don't have time for even the slightest bit of commitment phobia at this stage. I'm also fine being alone. So, I'm not saying to do what I do.

But this would bother me. I don't play games. I tell guys upfront. I'm a serious girl. I know what I want, and I'm looking for a partner for the long haul. If you're not it, I'm going to tell you. If I'm not it, or that's not your scene, tell me. So, I tend to date guys who are not reticient at all about the label girlfriend because they're dating me with the same intentions I have --- to see if this is the endgame.
