SophieJayne Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 For two years I dated the man I thought I was going to marry. And for two years he treated me horribly. After being broken up for 6 months, I met the guy of my dreams. We'd known each other before (He used to be friends with my ex, I used to be friends with his current girlfriend), but had never really talked. And once we did, we totally hit it off. We fell for one another so soon that I didn't think it was real, But we're now able to tell one another "I love you" and honestly mean it. The problem? He broke up with his girlfriend of 4 years to date me and they were seperated for about a month. The girlfriend wasn't having this and did everything in her power to get between us, ultimately it worked and they got back together. But he and I are still in love and still see each other. And now, My ex boyfriend has completely turned his life around and wants me back and I want to give him one last chance... But I don't want to stop seeing The Other Guy. I love my ex, but I don't get the same feelings I do when I'm with the other guy. What should I do? :/
Jazzari Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 The new Guy: He cheats on his girlfriend to see you. Why do you think he would treat you any better? If he was with you, do you think he would see his ex on the side? The ex-Boyfriend: It doesn't sound like you are in love with him. Why be with him if he isn't everything you want? Why settle? My vote? Neither of them. Find someone new.

If you gave him the same feelings of love he gives you, he wouldn't have gotten back with his ex. Period. Your ex is okay. You thought you wanted to spend the rest of your life with him - but then you realized there is someone out there that you like more than him. Which means there is another man who you will like more than him and the new guy and who will not leave you for an ex
