My friend told me not to rush anything so I didn't kiss her, i guess she was expecting it. Do you think because I didn't kiss her it ruined my chances or will she still want to hang out? I guess she also likes me.

I guess she also likes me. It was the first date, holding hand and cuddling is a BIG step for first date. If you could see she wanted a kiss it's better to hold off. Means she'll want it more next time and be happier when you finally do it. As for did you "ruin" anything? What's to ruin? Were you rude to her? Did you show her a good time? If she doesn't like you after that date then you have to be confident there's nothing you can do to change that. You'll find out if she's interested by whether or not you see her again. Just go with it.

I wouldn't say the first really counted. But other then that, I was thinking the same exact thing. My plans were to wait until the second or third.
