I am divorced from the love of my life for a week now :(.

He wanted out because of issues we had in the marriage......no cheating.....too little sex, me letting myself go.....mainly me lying about my finances....

We're still living together...we have 2 kids.....

He says he loves me, but he's lost trust in me and feels like I've taken him for granted all these years....

We are getting along now better than ever in our marriage and besides those problems about my debt and not enough sex, our marriage was really good.....so now our "relationship" is great, except there's no affection....

I love him more than anything in the world and would love nothing more than for us to reconcile...

He said he doesn't know what the future holds, but anything is possible...

Do you have any advice as to what I could do to get my ex-husband back ???

I'm not asking for it to happen within weeks....months even a year or two would be ok with me.....I just want to do everything from now on to make him fall in love with me again....

I'm already working on my debt (which is hard to do with my small pay, but I'm trying hard)....I'm losing weight and taking better care of myself.....

What else can I do ???

Please help !!!!!!!!!

I don't think I am qualified to answer this because I am so young but I feel as if I am an adult and mature enough.

But it seems like you are doing the right things so far in taking care of yourself which may help him respect you more.

Spend time with your children. I think he needs time to relax and figure out if you are the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Let him figure it out and be there when he needs you and show him that you love him and that you will change but don't beg. Give him the space.

loveforever, I think you should make your way to the Separation and Divorce subforum. Most of the users who have been / are in your situation usually hang out over there. I read the threads over there too and you will definitely find the insights you're looking for when you visit and share your story.

I'm sorry to hear about your divorce and I wish you and your children the best. I hope you'll find your own healing.

When I read of your situation it brought to mind something that I came across that may be worth checking into. One thing that I know is that rarely is there one answer to fix all problems. This free report has a lot of ideas that may help you in this situation and you can find it here at http://www.secretstogettingmyexback.com/top7mistakes/. I wish you all the best.

Well, he is still there with you all. That is good unless there is no alternative. Work on yourself, be happy and a great mother/wife. He has not said it is hopeless. Take time and build it all up again. I sincerely hope you succeed, it can be done.

Taking them for granted and losing trust; they all can be worked on. Do things for him, cherish him and gradually he may regain that trust.

I feel this can be saved, good luck and keep posting
