Needy/Clingy GF, or is it my imagination?

Ok I am a 28 yr old male, previously divorced and my gf is also divorced and 27. I am currently in school and working nights. I feel that have a "date" once a week, considering my schedule is reasonable to also build in some "me" time to recharge. Am I totally off base by thinking that my gf is needy or clingy because she always asks if she did something wrong or because she wants to see me almost everyday?

I suppose that this depends on how long you two have been seeing eachother. If it has been a short amount of time then yes, I would say she is being 'clingy' as you put it. But if you two have been dating for awhile (maybe even told one another that you are in love) then she might just be trying to ensure that the relationship works out, considering you've both been through a divorce. Once you come to have strong feelings for someoen and experience the security of a loving relationship it can be hard to let it go... shes most likely trying her damned hardest to make sure you two stay togeather... even though in effect she seems to be pushing you away. A catch22 isnt it?

I think the same as this but generally once a week is nice with some phone calls in between. Perhaps surprise her sometimes though as monotomy of 'same time next week' is a bit dull!
