My guy friend, is a real deep thinker and wants a girl who "is his equal". besides the point.

He is dating his ex gf again, i think mainly because hes lonely. 1) he says he loves her, enjoys her, but cant stop wondering what it would be like with another woman who loves him and treats him well.

 

If someone is with someone and cant stop wondering what it would be like with someone else, shouldnt they break up? I would say yes, but i need other thoughts. i want the best for him.

If he is with someone mainly because he's lonely, he does neither of them a service. Suggest to him that he learn to live alone happily - then he'll be more likely to find his 'equal'.

Tell him you like him already so he can say yes or no and you can move on with things in either direction.

It will save you alot of grief.
