amandalou Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 ok...so there is this guy that i started seeing a couple of months past. we hit it off, but i broke it off because of some personal issues on his side and i was being stationed overseas. we both thought that it would be best. the problem is that i am in love with him and i'm pretty sure he loves me too. "why is that a problem?" you ask. those personal issues that he is dealing with are hindering our relationship and i know that we cannot be together until he deals with them. sometimes i find myself wondering how long i am supposed to wait for him to get his act together and for us to be together. i know that is what he wants, but he told me that he can't be what i need/deserve right now. i love him and want to be with him, but i also don't want to waste time on something that might not happen. any advice???
damian Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Dont wait. He will contact you if and when he has sorted his issues, which could be never. Live for you and dont put him first. That way you will heal from any pain while he sorts himself out.
