J0N Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Think you should show her how it feels to be rejected, by pressing DELETE! She only feels guilty, now go celebrate your sons b day! I feel like if my ex ever got back in touch with me it would be something like this, and I won't be responding if she does.
SimonSerenade Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 It really dosen't credit a reply, Maybe when she tries alot harder it'll be worth giving her something to read, I'd do the same with my ex, Was hung over for ages and got let down at every sight of something happening, Now I'd never take her back, People like us deserve better than people who selfishly up and leave you like that. I hope my ex does send me a meaningful email one day wanting to come back and I'll say something like "gimme one good reason why I should take you back?" and if she pours her heart out in tears, All I'll be able to say is "Nahhh what else ya got? >.>" lol Just ignore her and give her a taste of her own medicine, Hope you had a good day with your son matey
Author strangeways Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) Just had to tell you man, this had me howling! I feel I can tell you this b/c you are clear about who and what she is (she, on the other hand, sadly, is clueless) -- anyhow, this line had me shaking my head saying, nothing ceases to amaze me ... I think I did something comparable to this when I was about 16 years old ... Live and learn, that's what life is about. Hope you had a nice day yesterday. I know what you mean Grace. I think that was the most ridiculous thing (amongst many) that she said during the breakup. I even laughed when she said it. She handled the whole thing appallingly. Giving me false hope to minimise the drama for her so she could get out as fast as possible. Made it worse for me in the end. very selfish. My son had a great day. Best described as organised chaos. No chance of me responding. I know I deserve WAY better than her. I was down a few weeks ago about her not getting in touch but now she has I get the expression careful what you wish for. It's definitely made me start thinking about things again. Stuff that I really don't want to be going over again. I know its only temporary but its annoying. I suspect this is exatctly what she wanted. Just when I was well on my way to moving on, she pops up. She's just hoping that it'll keep that memory of her alive. Just in case .
