school one of best friends who i like is asking me whether i like for... the 5th time

ok, a girl i have liked for a year and a half has finally shown some interest in me (we're students at high school) and although i have asked her out in the past shes shown no interest at all and we went back to being clearly "just friends" but lately she has been much more affectionate with me and generally flirting with me i won't go into detail her just beleive that shes shown signs of liking me. Now recently shes been sms'ing me and asking me whether i like her and i asked her why she wanted to know and she said just tell me I want to know. now im thinking should i risk it all again and tell her I like her and possible get hurt... again (this has happened before) or should i play it safe and try to slow things down, im in a real dilemma here and I need to make a decision as she seems to be pushing the subject.

 

So can u please give me any help u can, i mean i have liked this girl for ages, but i would rather stay friends then possibly screw things up. recently more then ever shes seemed to notice me and lately we have been asked if we're going out on average 4 times a day. Its getting to the point where i need to either ask her out or not, im in a rather small friendship circle with her another girl and two other guys who usually turn a blind eye to us. But i really need to get things to a stable yes or no or else my sanity may not survive another day.

well if u do like her than i say go for it. although u are friends it may alter your veiws in later times. but the only thing u will regret about it is not saying yes or reacting when u should have. (high school freshman advice)

hmm, well times gone on since then, and well i sorta just stayed non commited with my answer, things are... interesting not much has changed and we still get a long well, I decided since it is highschool and chances are even if we did "go out" then it probably wouldn't last, so i want to stay friends with her and that way still have the company and get along well with her but not, have it so if we had a fight then it would turn into world war 3 between friendships and all that.

 

oh well now all i gotta work on is getting her to think the same way, and recently my friends have been making comments on us and how we always seem close so I want it just to be stable and comfortable that way there won't be any arguments or comments, because although i like her i think its for the best just to be friends.
