If your type's type isn't you, do you believe they could change their minds and accept you as their new type?

Say they do change their minds and accept you as their new type, would you trust that they genuinely like you for you and are "done" with their type?

while I do have a 'type' - ie over the years I worked out what works for me in terms of personality in another person and what I like in looks - I won't dismiss someone just because they don't fit into certain categories. if we click, we click.

if someone likes you, it would be extremely silly of him to dismiss you just because you don't fit into some kind of pigeon hole that he created in his mind. that's a very narrow minded person who probably isn't worth dating.

usually if a guy doesn't want to be with you, it's because he doesn't like you enough. you can't convince someone to like you.

treat yourself and others as individuals, not types, it's all a bit silly really. people are not numbers

I know of some guys that are "childish" enough to only go for their types. If a girl isn't blonde, tall, and slim, he doesn't touch with a five-foot pole.

Hi there.

If you could indulge me. What is childish about about someone (man or woman) knowing what their type is and then going after it?

Everyone has preferences, right? Why would anyone compromise that?
