I see him around my gym, but we haven't spoken since early November when he said he didn't know what he wanted. We have a ton in common and always had a great time. I still have some lingering feeling for him, but have since moved on and have been dating etc. Well out of the blue he CALLED, said something about wanting to know about some classes. When i called him back we spoke for 30 mins, he had to get another call and then called back and left a message saying he wanted to take a class with me and also set up a play date for our pups. As I always seem to read into things to much and really don't want to get hurt again. From a group perspective should I assume he just wants to take a class with me and hang out as buddies or could he possibly be re-visiting the idea of us hanging out and possibly dating again? He could have asked anyone at our gym and knows other girls and guys...why me...hahah Thanks for reading Happy New Year!

I'm saying that because if he wanted anything more substantial, he would have spoken to you in the gym face to face. Also if someone says they don't know what they want, it usually means they don't want a relationship with you. If you get involved with him again he will probably hurt you again. I think you should change gyms and keep dating the guys you have been dating since. Don't be an option

If he disappears again then it'll be confirmed that this is the case. There's a small chance he thinks he made a mistake and he's considering giving it another shot, but I'd chalk it up to lonliness. It's winter, people get like that this time of year, especially with V-day approaching.
