commadore Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 i have been "dealing" with this girl for a couple weeks now, but i feel like were not dating. i want to thought, firstly is it apporpriate to ask her to be my girlfriend? and if so i thought of a cool way to ask her and i wanna know what you think. im a programmer and i was thinking of making a little program where there a button that says something to the effect of click me and then when she clicks it a messege box pops up saying be my girlfriend or somthing, id do it while were on my couch after a movie or somtihng, what do you guys think? I think its a cute way instead of just saying it to her?

I think you should make sure you're actually "dating" first and THEN (after a few dates, during which time you can kiss her/hug her/have sex with her) ask her to be your girlfriend. Notice, you should explicitly ask the girl for dates, not just for "lets hang out". Good luck, hope it works out. PS: About the program, I don't know, if she's the kind of girl that would appreciate it, then it's super awesome. If she's like most girls, it might come out a bit ubergeeky..

I asked my ex to be my gf. 2 weeks later she wanted to breakup and never see me again. dont know if this answered ur question. I think if they know you want them they dont want you. It doesn't make sense to me but who knows eh?

Go ahead ask if you feel it's the right moment. I think she thinks you're her boyfriend. About whether the method is cute, again, really depends on a girl, but you know her best!
