ihavelotsofcoconuts Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 So this happened some time ago and I haven't quite made anything of it yet. There was this blonde girl (she was a 8.5) in my college year and I used to like her. And she contacted me on Yahoo Messenger one day to ask me something about some class we had (anatomy as i recall). Anywho we got on talking again and again and one day I asked her out. When we went out that day we went on a walk and then i suggested we go to a nice college cafe i knew. It was quaint and we talked some more. Then as the night grew closer we had to part and because I was driving (more with politeness in mind than anything else) I suggested that I take her home. She refused categorically and said that she better take a taxi. I insisted once because we live in a big city and the cab was expensive and she refused again so i dropped it. As i got home that evening she send me a text saying she was sorry that she reacted like that but she didn't want me to go out of my way just to drive her. I paid it no mind. Another week passed and I asked her out again to which she accepted. We went to see a movie (for which I bought tickets) and during the movie I put my hand over hers and lightly crossed my fingers with hers. She didn't do anything in return. As the movie ended and she wanted to go home i tried to take her home again but again she turned me down. As i went towards my car she called me on the phone to tell me she forgot to pay me for the ticket. I said she shouldn't cause it was on me so she came after me to give me the money (pretty weird huh?) As I drived home again she texted me again saying something like it was nice and she didn't want to ruin it by refusing the drive home again but it's her money and preffers to take a cab. Anyway the story goes on so we went out a third time (this time it was warm outside) and we went to get a drink at a terrace. It started to rain so i suggested we take a drive (because it was pretty early). "Shockingly" she said yes so we drove around talking and at one point I stopped the car close to a cliff. We talked some more but I kept steering the conversation to more romantic topics (like "i like your hair", slightly touching it, etc.) but she didn't do anything and kept the conversation cold. When it was time to go home i drove her home and said that "i really enjoyed spending time with her that evening". I was looking for the "kiss lean-over" but she just said "yes i enjoyed it too. see you. good night" and left. simple as that. At one point a friend of hers contacts me and after i helped her out with something she said something like "take care of her ok?" which means she said something to her friends. Anyway the college year ended and I had to come home. As the summer passed she started to contact me again but I was in a casual relationship with a girl from my town and though i flirted back i couldn't do anything because i was in another town. After the new college year began we threw a student party at a club so i invited her with me. Reluctantly she accepted (meanwhile she had transfered to general medicine - we were dental medicine- and she said that she didn't want to feel like she didn't belong...pretty stupid). I tried to dance with her on the dancefloor but she moved around like a rag (and that's pretty accurate). I asked her what was wrong and she said that she didn't feel so well because she had this cough. Finally it was time to leave and i took her home again...and again no sign of anything. I can't get the slightest read on her? I thought she was interested. Is she? Or is she just plain "relationship-dumb" and doesn't know how to do anything/expects me to grab her by the neck and say "now, woman kiss"? What say you audience?
utterer of lies Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 You were too scared to act to find out. Now it doesn't matter anymore.
