I am curious just how important this is to some people...I imagine it would be more important to the dumpee than the other party.

Thoughts?

If it's regarding contact, I'd think it would be more important for the dumpee to let the dumper have the last word and leave the dumper hanging by going NC.

I don't care if its the first or last word but all that matters to me is getting out in the open all the things that I would want to say.

Who says the dumpee has to say anything to initiate NC? I sure didn't. I think going NC sort of speaks for itself. It doesn't need to be announced.

Agree with suddendumpee, NC doesn't have to be communicated to the dumper.

There's a part of me wants to say my piece and get the last word, definitely.

But what's the bloody point? He wouldn't listen, he certainly wouldn't understand and in the end I'd just feel cr*ppier for pouring it all out there and getting nothing. What's done is done.
