melenkurion Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Heh. I wonder if he is enormously secure as to how well-behaved his new love who is so good at with commitment is going to be while he is away in Mauritius. A part of it is an attempt to see if the leash is still attached, I would say? (Sorry, that phrase sounds a little disrespctful to you, but I can't think of a better one). And: he's a little down and wants a bit of an ego stroke. Not much more than that

And: he's a little down and wants a bit of an ego stroke. Not much more than that I totally agree with the leash bit!! I think he's feeling down and maybe has realised that the new girl isn't SO amazing... as well as being flaky, as you've picked up... He obviously wants to know if "the old option" is still attached... well I'm not! I think he's pathetic, actually. And only reaching out when he's so far away shows what a coward he is. I'm really starting to see the light and it feels great. Funny how my predictor of a six week "bump" for his new fling was pretty much on the nose! We're coming up to six weeks since the break on Saturday.
