randy90631 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 What do girls think when a guy asks this question after two months of dating: "Would your feelings be hurt if I decided to stop seeing you?" A girl asked me this a long time ago as a guage to see how emotionally invested I was with her. I want to ask a girl this question now. The reason is my feelings would be hurt if she stopped seeing me for whatever reason. Her answer would indicate whether she is looking for something serious with me or not, and therefore i can keep myself in check.
tb24 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I'm a guy but this seems really the wrong way to move forward to me. If it was me, I'd ask her if she was seeing anyone else and if she'd like to be my girlfriend. I honestly can't see playing games like that helping you at all.
JaneDoe35 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I would find it very confusing if a man I was dating asked this question. And to protect myself I would probably say 'No, I wouldn't be hurt at all'. Even if I really liked the guy! It would make me paranoid.......

denise_xo Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I'd also be inclined to think that he'd want to dump me. Maybe a more forward looking phrase works better - do you see us together in x months' time or something along those lines.
Author randy90631 Posted January 11, 2011 Author Posted January 11, 2011 I'm a guy the has a big heart, and when I'm dating someone that I want a LTR with, its hard for me to control the emotions. It takes a short time for me to develop strong feelings for someone. I don't know how fast it should go for most people. I wish I could control it. I have been able to hide my feelings, especially since it could scare off girls. After dating this girl for 2 months, I would like to know how she feels about me and she wants to get serious, without looking weak. I've already asked her to be exclusive a month ago, and I was giving "lets get to know each other more" I don't know how long I should wait to ask again I don't want to be strung along thinking that something serious is on the horizon. What should I do?
