robaday Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Hi, I recently found out a girl I had been dating had been talking to her friends about the nature of our relationship. I have no issue with this at all, and would never discourage her from doing this. However, one of the friends drunkenly, started telling me she knew all the details of our relationship including arguments we'd had and highly personal information about me. I felt pretty uncomfortable-I guess, I dont mind the girl talking to her friends for support, its natural, what I do mind is being put on the spot like that. It felt a little invasive. To add to this, she told me shed spoken to a male friend about 'us'. I actually like this guy, but he's recently broken up with his gf, and has been asking this girl to hang out a lot. She insists they r just friends. Up until recently I had no reason to doubt this.... Where do I draw the line? We have had problems, I cannot deny that, and i certainly dont want to come across as controlling by telling her not to discuss this stuff with people, but i also dont really want every aspect of my personal life to be made common knowledge....
