rebeccajones Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 How should I feel about this. I have been in NC for a month broke up about 4 months ago. Tried to reconcile after 3 months, did not happen. I just hate that he is best friends with my brother in law. I guess I have to deal with it. I am aware of it because I am close to my sister. My ex and brother in law hang out often and he even goes to my sister's house. It just kind of sucks for me because I am doing good and moving on. In some ways it interrupts my moving on. I also feel that he is a bad influence on my brother in law, they always get wasted together. Has anyone had to deal with something like this?
HeavenOrHell Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 No, but I would have preferred your situation to mine; my ex getting together and moving in with a friend of mine. Not meaning to belittle your situation but it could be much worse. Keep moving on, you can avoid him successfully if you plan things well. Good luck.

He has been out of my life and run ins with him and hearing about him just stifles my moving on. Sets me back a bit. I'm pissed kinda. He loves my bro in law, but not me kinda hurts also!

My ex wants to go even though he knows I will be there. I don't think he cares at all about me. I'm getting to that point, but I have so many mixed feelings. I don't think he cares about anything. Are ex's THAT clueless. Does he not know or remember we had a relationship where I thought we were in love? I don't think he remembers or feels a thing! I feel discarded by him.
