Personally I think there are some people we are meant to have in our lives, for whatever period of time in whichever circumstance. I don't think there is one person that you are meant to spend your life with. I think that there are many people we are capable of spending our lives with, it's only a matter of which of those we find and if the timing is right. Edited January 9, 2011 by Hopeful30
Jazzari Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Yes, I believe in a soul mate or twin-flame I believe because I had it. I knew him from the second I saw him with no words being said. We had 20 good years until he died and so that part of my life is now over. I'm confident I can find love again, but nothing will ever match what I had with him. I think a person can find many loves and be happy with many different people. But there is only one soul mate.
dave22 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I don't necessarily believe there is only one soul mate for everyone, but I do believe that in rare cases you can find someone who seems to be almost a perfect match. This happened for the first time in my life a few months ago, however, due to many complicated circumstances and the fact that we had different views how a relationship should work, it didn't work out.
