I focused on school, not working out or eating right, and gained the typical freshman 15 all over again. This is the heaviest I've ever weighed in my life. I am 5'9, 155-160 lbs, 36DD. I am a size 8/10 dress. Who knows what size pants b/c I haven't bought jeans b/c I'm afraid to spend $150 on a pair of size 12 jeans. My fear is, do guys really think I'm cute now? I feel so unattractive. I am used to being a size 6. I have been single for about 13 months now. I haven't been told I'm cute in so long. A dream of mine is to meet a guy who finds me cute at this weight.... am I dreaming? Has anyone found love at size 12 and above?

fishtaco Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I'm gonna repeat what I said before for other people. If it bothers you, fix it. It's normal to gain holiday weight. So why don't you lose it? It's not like the 15 lbs is permanent. But if you want to keep the 15 lbs, like others have said, I doubt you won't be able to "find love" just because of that. It matters to you more than the guys. Really. So does it matter to you? If the answer is yes, then work out, diet, and lose it. If not, then keep the 15lbs and spend your energy on the important things. Like filtering out crappy guys.
Knittress Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I'm an inch shorter and about five pounds lighter (so proportionally about the same), and I don't get anything but rave reviews. I'm working on losing 10 pounds, toning up, and fitting in a size six myself - but honestly I don't think the men will notice all that much...

OP, how old are you anyway? Not many people have the perfect body, but seeing your profile, you were a former model, right? Just work out more... focus on it... and yeah, shouldn't be a problem for guys, not in MIA...

Do what makes your feel attractive, whether that's losing weight, exercising, going to a spa, getting a new hairdo or wardrobe, etc. Even something as simple as a jog followed by a swipe of a new Chanel lipgloss makes me feel good. A size 6 to 12 is a large difference, particularly in such a short period of time. So it's totally understandable for you to be feeling a little uncomfortable in your own skin, because it doesn't feel like "you." I imagine you'll either bounce back to where you were, or will grow to love your new figure. Either way, I'm sure you're stunning.

AT 165 and 5'9, her BMI is actually 24.4, which puts her within what is considered a "healthy" weight.

I've hit it with a girl that was NOT a size 4-6, I guess she could've been a 10, but she was tall, had a boob job, so hid her massiveness well ,.. and when naked in bed? only problem was ... well, tmi , lol... lol
