Owz600 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I broke up with my ex 10 days ago and I have gone NC but I still have her added on facebook. Yesterday she commented on one of my facebook status's saying 'it made her laugh x'. We finished as friends and both saying we need to find ourselves again. My aim is to be happy again by getting a new job, re connecting with friends and following my dream of being in a band. Does daily Facebook status updates about what your doing keep her interested and show that your following your goals of recovery to find yourself? Or does it simple make her less interested? She has been posting a lot of facebook status updates also. It seems like it may be a way that both of us are using to connect to each other, kind of like that final tie.
Analeigh Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 As a woman, daily status updates about your progress or how great your life is would turn me off. I would see through it and think you were trying to build yourself up to me. I would remove her as a friend. If you find you can't do that, I would add her to a privacy list so that she can't see your wall, photos, etc but is still technically a friend. I think you will feel better in the long run and it will help you both heal.
Karma20 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I would be more interested if I didn't know what or how you were doing. Curiosity would get the best of me
