Just saying, being stuck at home with the flu most of the week has made me a LS addict this week. WOW a lot goes on in the daytime.;)

Thanks for all the posters that make this a vibrant environment. I have learned a lot, become somewhat less and somewhat more skeptical & jaded about dating since joining, but have learned a lot.

What i find fascinating is how I tend to bounce all over the place based on one post to the next. One minute I am totally seeing the point and thoughts and actions of a poster, then I see responses, and I feel a totally different way, and say in my flu-ridden head, good point, great point. My views shift so often it let's me know I need way more clarity about things before making judgements and giving opinions. I speak too fast, say too much and don't wait for thoughts sometimes, I go on initial feeling.

The more posts I see on a juicy topic, the more open my brain gets-even if I was not very interested or moved by the OP. Thank you to the females for showing our collective points of view, not just one, and thanks to the males, for showing your sides, thoughts and struggles, it does help me, personally, get more into you heads, thoughts and wants and desires and feelings. It is so hard in the real world to do that, I find, in spite of trying and being open and mindful.

Thanks for all the food for thought, it has made my week of having the flu a lot less miserable.:sick::sick::sick::sick:

Sorry to hear that you are not well - hope you feel better soon :)

I also found that my opinions in certain areas seemed to be more malleable than I first thought.

Geez, it seems like everyone I know is sick right now. ::sneeze:: Ugh.

I've noticed that I can often seem like an entirely different person just depending on my mood at the time. I guess the written word has a tendency to be a two-dimensional snapshot of the real person, eh? Something to keep in mind when someone super-duper pisses you off around here, I guess.

Thanks for the replies:

January:

Thanks, very sweet. I got crippled with the big kahuna, lol. I never miss work, rarely miss work, and my butt is attached to this bed, it's so sexy, lol. Sweat, cough, cuss, whine, cough, cuss, compter, cough, computer, tv, cuss, I think I have it down to a science. I have not been this sick in 5 years, and of course, lol, mother nature is beating her ugly wand down on me:sick:, so I get to deal with all that happy girl stuff, too. Rock on! Lots of my colleagues are sick also. Appreciate your kind wishes. Truly.

Nice to hear, I like that. I think having us open our minds to more is always good!

Amen to that, me too. Good food for thought Knittress! Thanks for chiming in. Yes some people super duper pissed me off here before, especially early on, I have grown a thicker skin, lol, since then.
