Don't get me wrong guys I love this site and the community, seriously you guys have helped me so much and I hope I've offered something valueble out of all the blabbering I do. But sometimes I write so much and I wonder if loveshack is like lovecrack? What do you guys think, what is so alluring about this site is it the pink windows, the weird affair stories, the miscellaneous posts, the interesting arguments, the posters who never listen, the kind people who get so hurt, ohh what is it love shack that makes you so tantalizing.

You get to read stories that beat any commercial soap opera, post threads that start huge flamewars, participate in said flamewars, help people and make friends all in one package.

What's there not to like? :p

Honestly? This forum allows me to see through the minds of women.

Unfortunately, so far it hasnt been what I wanted to see.

Yeah, muse, I'm sure you came here with a wonderful view of women to begin with, as evidenced by your first few days of posting.

I think I have a fetish that is being fed on this forum.

If I'm honest, I really enjoy coming here for the arguments lol, but there's lots of good information and insights as well.

For the same reason Big Brother was popular when it first started.

Love/sex is universal, so it's easier to read something that resonates and post something that might as well than it is on other forums that deal with other matters. I first turned to the Internet forum to see if there was any community for the free-thiker/atheist/non-believers. I found it all mostly cold competition and little mututal growth. LS has been the best Internet forum experience so far for me.

I take an electron drive into the big city a few times a day and wander the streets seeing how life is there. Out where I live one can go a week and not see another human. I see LS as that city, that community and my relatively remote little laptop as where I live. It's not much different than in real life, where I drive an hour roundtrip just to buy groceries. It's another part of getting out in the world, if only virtually. A big, broad world of diversity. We all have our unique 'reasons'.

Here's a similar thread from 2 1/2 years ago. Compare what I said then to now. That's the journey.

yeah I feel you on that Feelin frisky the people here are very supportive.

here's my theory the windows are pink so generally nicer people are attracted to joining this site, and there is a heart in the title of the forum.

and it's called loveshack :)

The window into people's lives is fascinating and makes compelling viewing.

Reading about people's journeys and supporting them in their next steps is also rewarding.

There are also a number of posters who are so wise and write so well that great insight can be found in a single sentence.

If you're the kind of poster who likes to get stuck in and pick apart arguments in the latest debate thread, there's room for you here.

There's also room for you if you just want to have a bit of fun and not write that much except to catch up with your LS friends.

I doubt I'll be around forever, but right now, this is where I'll pitch my tent.
