2010_Sorry Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I just had a guy friend (he's 34) tell me that he thinks that women that wear low rise jeans and have a little belly is hot. I have seen a lot of it lately, and I hate it. Are us women just too hard on ourselves and other women? Is that look really "hot" or is he crazy?

Dress to suit your body type. Just because something looks good in a magazine doesn't mean it'll look good on you. That muffin top look... um, no. If she has epic boobs or something I may get distracted I guess. But I'm also Californian. We're pretty superficial here.

I laughed at him when he said it, but soon realized he was serious. I don't know, to each their own, but I have to agree with everyone so far!

I've seen that look and on some girls I think it works really well, but on most I think it's not the most flattering way they could have dressed. Also, yes, lots of women are too hard on yourselves!

Much better to wear a size 14 that compliments your figure than squeeze into a size 12 that looks like you're squeezed into it. Many people think they are the size the label on their clothes says, that if they can fit into a size 12 then they are somehow magically smaller than if they wear a size 14. You are the size that you are. The number on the label of the clothes you wear does not make you any slimmer, it just makes you look worse if you're wearing something too small.
