Ariadne Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Yeah, but how to explain him keeping Michelle around for so long unless he likes bitchy women? Ashely H. is bitchy too. He doesn't like Michelle at all, she is like a joke for him. Did you see how he treated her as she was going down the building? (A LA skyscraper people) Good job! You did so well! etc. And poor her thought that that bonded them. And Chantal is the typical dominatrix type that they love. The moment she went "soft" on him he reminded her that she has to be the "tough" girl.
Ariadne Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Btw, I think if I had to do what she did, my hands and legs would be trembling so much I'd pass out! I was there not long ago inside one of those buildings at night and I couldn't even get near the window as it was low to the floor. Wow!!!!!!!! Just wow!!!!!!!
Star Gazer Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Yeah, but how to explain him keeping Michelle around for so long unless he likes bitchy women? Ashely H. is bitchy too. I think your definition of bitchy is ultra-sensitive, to begin with. That said, he doesn't see their bitchy sides. WE do. So while he may like SOME women who have bitchy moments, that doesn't mean he likes them because they're bitchy. Emily's certainly not bitchy, and he ADORES her. And for those that are bitchy, can you blame them? They're all falling in love with the same guy! Everyone is seen as a threat. He's keeping Michelle because he thinks she's smoking hot and thinks she'd be a great mother. Again, he doesn't see her bitchy side.
Star Gazer Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 What was up with the picnic with Emily? I've always wanted to go on a surprise picnic... *swoon*
tinktronik Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I've always wanted to go on a surprise picnic... *swoon* Does anyone else think Emily is just not that into Brad? She just seems really.... IDK scripted maybe?
Star Gazer Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Does anyone else think Emily is just not that into Brad? She just seems really.... IDK scripted maybe? Not scripted, but she's definitely holding back. I think she's really, really afraid of falling in love again, and losing it. She keeps saying that Ricky was the absolute love of her life. Me thinks when you find that love, and lose it to sudden death, that it might be reeeeeeeeally effing hard to let yourself love again, ya know? Her lost love was a race car driver, and apparently next week one of their dates is at a race track, and she shuts down. Poor girl.

She reminds me a lot of my little cousin, who is so sweet and so southern.
OceanGirl Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I just now got around to watching this. I can not stand Chantal. She is so manipulative. I don't even think that she is straight forward. For example when she got jealous about that picnic with Emily, she went to him and said something like "If you prefer women that are needy and emotionally unstable, I am not for you" Good way of promoting herself and putting others down in one go. She didn't say: "I am feeling really jealous that you prepared surprise picnic for Emily" or even "I feel that Michelle is emotionally unstable" which is what she said to other girls and what she was really thinking. Her personality is disgusting in every way Brad strikes me as typical emotionally wimpy guy underneath who is drawn to dominatrix types. Ultimately, even though he finds Emily extremely attractive and liked her when she was "cool" and "composed" - she will turn out to be too soft for him.
OceanGirl Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I also hate Ashley H and Michelle and that other small Ashley is annoying too.
Star Gazer Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Her personality is disgusting in every way Ha! Of course you'd say that!

Although half of her insanity is probably scripted.
OceanGirl Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Ha! Of course you'd say that! I dunno, maybe I am a bit jealous of that personality type. I feel like I would do much better with men if I was stronger and bossier. But I am what I am. It also doesn't help that all of the guys I really liked in the past ended up with girls like that.
BobSacamento Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Let's be honest, it shouldn't be called "The Bachelor" it should be called "The Opportunist"...and people eat this slop up.

I agree with everything you wrote. I think the only reason he has kept Emily around so long, despite her shyness and lack of aggression, is because she's so gorgeous. I really like Emily's personality (she's genuinely sweet), but she strikes as the odd one out amongst the bitchy women he is drawn to.
northern_sky Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 "If you prefer women that are needy and emotionally unstable, I am not for you" lol, I noticed that too. Also, it's ridiculous because she is super needy and unstable. I mean how many times has she cried around him already?
Ariadne Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 I thought that you liked Michelle? Anyway she is bat**** insane. Although half of her insanity is probably scripted. Of course I like Michelle. She is one of the most real girls in there, and she also can sense that something is "off" with him, like when she said, you have some walls! and other questions like that. But I don't think he takes her seriously at this point. It also doesn't help that all of the guys I really liked in the past ended up with girls like that. +1

The producers needed a villain, and and she's an actress after all. Edited January 28, 2011 by northern_sky
Star Gazer Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 She's bat**** crazy, and not in endearing way. I also think her character is almost entirely scripted. The producers needed a villain, and and she's an actress after all. It's definitely scripted, but not by the producers. She's doing it all on her own. She's a full blown actress: Michelle Money.
Ariadne Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Did anyone get to see it last night? I love The Bachelor! What beautiful scenery! It rocks! And Michelle Money is gone... I don't see any love connection with anybody there this time either.
Star Gazer Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Yaaaay! Michelle is gone!! I  Emily, but Chantal will win. I hope Em gets the next Bachelorette title!!!!
