Misrepresent yourself in pictures or no?

I saw this profile of a woman on POF where it says, "FIrst Date" she goes, "Please be the same person you are in your photos, if i see muscles, I better not see fat/flab in person, if you have hair in your pic, you better not be bald in person! Otherwise Ill just call you liar!"

Anyhow, this got me thinking, I wonder if some people had put up photos, and they were representative photos, but for some reason, after the person saw you face to face, you didn't really seem to be the same person in the photo...but you KNOW you had CURRENT photos, so what's the deal?

Or perhaps you did look like your photos, but "not quite", perhaps there were 3-dimensional aspects that he/she saw in person that were more appealing in 2-D? lol

 

I was wondering that with my recent meetup with the Latina woman....she seemed to be kind of in a hurry to leave as SOON as I paid my check (not hang around and chit-chat)

 

And I often wonder, still, if she wasn't physically attracted....because she was pretty friggin' hot herself, but for some reason she was attracted to my photos, but when she saw me face-to-face, she saw some aspect of my physical features (up-close), that turned her off ...but I'm not sure

 

So, I dunno, I know I put up recent photos, but I often wonder if some people see the photos, and they STILL think I might've mis represent myself...which I know I do not.

Yes, that's not what you look like. What if I only wanted to date guys with short hair and passed you over? Or what if I preferred long hair and you showed up shaven!?!
