Yeah, sorry mo mo. Horses for courses. :)

Fine.. but I think the whole "living in NYC" thing gives me a different perspective on the issue.

Speaking of which, and this is a little off topic but what the hell: NYC has the whole metro-sexual thing going on right? A lot of guys around here follow those trends.. but I think it's silly because there isn't much room for creativity with men's fashion. If I was a girl and I walked into a lounge filled with metrosexuals, it really would not matter who I decided to flirt with because all of those guys look exactly the same! Peacoats, popped collars, jewelry, tight jeans, pointy shoes.. etc.

they could try to be a LITTLE more original...

I'm based in London, UK and there are some areas that are very experimental in terms of fashion. Metrosexual style is also very popular here, particularly because of people like David Beckham.

But my opinions still stand.

Honestly I feel you should wear what you like and "own" the look. If you are confident, you will find women who will be attracted, especially if you look like you say you do.

There's a lot of room, but most of it isn't wearable.

And for menswear, the devil is in the details. The difference between pointy shoes and square toes is only a few centimeters, right? And a break in your slacks? Sartorial tradition finds all of its variation in a few careful measurements and in the make of the material. If you're like me, you will get excited about something as innocuous as the color of thread in the stitch. But, uh, I don't think that you need to share in that excitement to look good. I don't let people know that I care that much which is why I usually cop alone.

Haha

Well the real reason I made this thread is because I recently bought the gold chain and ordered the bracelet because there was a good deal on it. However, out of curiosity I went to check some websites on jewelry to see if I had gotten good deals, and I ended up finding a lot of stuff I liked at totally affordable prices. I had to take a step back though and tell myself that I already own several pieces, how much more do I really need? So I made the thread.
