Lovestruckteenager Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Hi, I'm new so not sure where this would go but here goes... I'm 16 not really had a proper boyfriend before. I'm seeing a guy who is such a good guy. He treats me with respect never let's me pay for things always Texting and ringing me to see how I am and we see each other quite a bit and we have kissed a couple of times but he had a news years eve party which a couldnt make as I would have to stay at his house and my mum thought it was too soon. Anyway. He was extremely drunk and he hugged a girl happy new year and she kissed him on the lips but he didn't resist then he ended up snogging her. It sounds silly but I knew something had happened. He told me the next day and explained everything and answered all my questions and he said he doesn't like her and nothing else would happen with her and she knows this as well. He wants to make us work and so do I. I have given him another chance but he knows if it happens again I'm finished with him. Have I done the right thing? I can't stop thinking that he has kissed somebody else and I want things to go back to the way they were but scared that's never going to happen. Have I done the right thing? What's everybodys veiw on the situation? I would be really grateful! Thank you! Xx
january2010 Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 In my experience, once the trust has been broken, it is very difficult to repair. You decided to give him another chance, so you can go with that and then dump him if he cheats again. Otherwise, if you really don't feel that you can trust him again, it's better to end it than to allow it to drag on when you're not happy.
