Lately, I've been browsing dating sites, and I'm bumping into some women that I know from real life, like at parties, or other real life venues where people socialize.

I was wondering, if you get a good study at a few key aspects from the profile....like perhaps their favorite motto/saying. Or they pointed out some movie or book that really influenced their life.

When you see them again, at a friends party, use THAT to your advantage, it'd make a great icebreaker and can definately win points, right?

But do NOT mention you saw her on a dating site....just use the INFO from her profile on the dating site for use in conversation when chatting her up.

Not a bad idea, right?

Sounds good to me as long as you are not using as manipulation. i.e.- profile says she's really into animals, but you hate them but pretend to like them. Get the idea?

Yeah, I would avoid hobbies that I don't like (if they like them), typically it would be better to talk about her personality and such.

I know this one woman said she's not much of a high maint person, and bring up that subject.

Say something like, "I take it your more of a low-maint gal, right?"

And she'll say, "Yeah! That's me, how'd you know!?!" lol

Yeah, I think that's a little creepy. Maybe I'm old fashioned though....

I understand wanting to be prepared, but that would give me the creeps. Why not just send them a message on the site? worth a shot, right?

Just be sure that when you tell me that Harold and Maude is your favorite movie too, that you've actually seen it. I would catch on really quick if you hadn't and then I'd be wondering where you got that if you hadn't actually seen the movie and then if i saw your profile on there. . .
