I've become Jaded about many things. it just seems natural to lose enthusiasm for things you've "been there, done that" many times over.

Age and wisdom makes you aware of the cons in any good move.

Has anyone every been Jaded, then become unjaded?

Yeah it sucks when you get into that mindset. It's really hard to get out of, especially at this time of the year.

A lot of the reason things get so mundane is because of habits and schedules and such. Try doing things out of the ordinary, move furniture around, switch up exercises at the gym, and try not to overthink things.

Try to put yourself in the mindset of somebody who is just being released from prison after twenty years. You would pay attention to every detail, every little thing you had been deprived of. Chances are, there are lots of things you aren't paying attention to just because you have gotten too caught up looking for something meaningful to focus on.

Looking back at this post, I should state that this isn't something I came up with on my own. It's a story I heard in a teaching on the benefits of mindfulness/living in the moment. It had a huge impact on me, thinking of this person on death row having this one chance to see the world again on the way to a doctor's appointment.
