living with a busy fiance

I recently moved to my fiance's country. The only visa that I could get was a tourist visa that will last half the year. We haven't decided yet for sure when we are getting married, and decided that marrying just for a visa is not a good idea.

 

I am not allowed to work or even go to school on the visitor visa. My fiance is a very busy man. How do I occupy myself while he is busy? I am used to working all the time. I'm afraid I will drive myself and him crazy. I also wanted to add that he has cheated on me in the past and I already have insecurities about it. Me being idle all day and him being so busy will really make things hard for me and highlight my insecurity. What should I do to make my visit go well?

Go back home, and find a guy nearer home who won't cheat on you, and where you can work and make something of yourself.

Sure as eggs is eggs, once you go back home, he will cheat on you again anyway.....

Neither of you are sure if you want to get married? And he cheated on you???? I say enjoy the visit while it lasts, and then go home and find someone who will love and respect you.

If you like the culture of the country you are visiting (and I hope you do, if you're thinking of marrying a guy who is a citizen of it), just go immerse yourself in it. Learn the language better (if language is an issue), embrace the history, interact with the citizens, find subjects of interest to pursue independently.

yes i will be dependent on him. i have some money saved up but i will be depending on him for most things.

Go and see the sites of this new town that may become your home, then do your bit around the house so when he is home he can spend time with you.
