joeLove Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Ladies, How important is a well weighted and given compliment to you (besides making you blush, of course). I was discussing this with some female friends over the holidays ...I know, every woman likes to hear how beautiful and all that she is... Does a guy increase his chance to get a date with you by giving you a good compliment at the right time?
Author joeLove Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 Obviously, not everyone who is in love masters the art of expressing it at the right time using the right words. Guys, have you ever "stolen" someone 's song (poetry) to express how you feel to a woman? Ladies, do you have any particular artists, whose lyric you absolutely enjoy hearing? If so, who?
Mme. Chaucer Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 For me, a compliment, no matter how skillfully crafted, would not help a guy get a date with me - though I'd certainly enjoy receiving it. My interest would be more piqued by a hilarious show of humor or a very precise observation, whether it was about me or not. But, once I am dating, thoughtful compliments are very appreciated and can further a guy's cause. Men and women alike should always remember to compliment the person they're with. It really helps keep romance in the relationship and staves off the dreaded state of taking one another for granted.
