at the begining of each relationship is a "honeymoon phase".

Generally in a "regular" relationship, how long does it last?

It Depends, 3-4 months industry standard, tops 1 year.

I agree. We had about 6 months of bliss. Best damn time of my life.

After the honeymoon stage it where the real work starts. Real love is a decision, and not a feeling. Too many people are not willing to make the committment, and when the 'feeling' is gone they bolt. I am trying to find someone that will stay after the honeymoon, and realizes that love does take some work.

2-6 months for me. Although, I did see Red Flags thru that period I overlooked them because she was gorgeous, had an incredible body (she was 38 and had the body of an 18y/o) and the sex was great! Within the first weeks of dating, I met and had a conversation with her mother "telling" me the do's and dont's of having a relationship with her. In that conversation, she told me "Her ex pissed her off and she threatened him that she was going to call his work about his cocaine habit." From that point on, I always had my guard up and took the necessary means to protect myself if she ever got "psyco-crazy" with me. Sorry....for going a bit off topic.
