I always found it bizarre to love two people romantically at the same time. I always found it very strange and I could never understand it, yet I think I am in a similar situation.

Thoughts? Comments? Experiences?

Happened to me when I got married back in the 90's... i was dating my high school sweetheart for 3-4 years... it was a given we would get married; but her parents had other thoughts...I was too rebel , rode a sport bike, didn't like her going out in my lifted Jeep, she had to go out 1/2 the time with a chaperon..

Met someone else 2 yrs older, got married a year later.. totally s.ucked, I was still madly in love with the ex g/f, but it was sooo over whelming to cancel a wedding, family , friends ... we kept seeing each other for about 2-3 years after my marriage until she moved away.. it was terrible, I still remember 2-3 instances , places , scenarios of our "good byes"...

Her replacement ended up being an ex wife after 10+yrs of marriage with the parasite.

Why? the heart (mind) has a huge capacity to love. It is what you do with the emotions that matters...

That's true, but if you love one man and you give everything to them, then how can there be two of him? You can't give half your heart to one and half to the other, at least not the way I see it lol it's either all or nothing, which is why I find it strange.
