Now that I am so far into my breakup they are fewer and further between now than they used to be but this one was different. In my dream I was walking through a subway station when out of the corner of my eye I saw her. I thought to myself, it’s been 9 weeks now; you should just leave her alone. I couldn’t resist so I called out to her “ex’s name, hey” she was with a friend who immediately recognized me and said, before my ex could respond, “What do you want?” I said calmly “I just wanted to say something to ex’s name,” My ex looked me right in the eye, smiled and said “What do you want to say?” (Her friend was looking at me as if she was going to respond to me attacking my ex). I simply said “I never got to say goodbye, ex’s name.” Then I turned and walked away. I remember as I got on my subway feeling really good about letting her go in a peaceful manner then the abrupt noise of BEEP, BEEP, BEEP (alarm clock going off) I am not really sure how to interpret this; I did watch Inception the other night lol. But is this me dreaming about finally being over her a good thing? I do not normally remember dreams this vividly either. *I am confused.
Breakupguy12 Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I bet you're not as confused as I was watching Inception, especially towards the end LOL. I think it's quite a coincidence that the alarm would go off at that time in your dream. I'm not good at interpreting dreams, so I won't lie to you and make up some reason why it went down this way. Did you try Googling it? I did (here:http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/g2.htm), if you scroll down to where it says "Goodbye" you'll see that it could mean that you're finally closing the book on this chapter of your life. Since it's been 9 weeks, this makes complete sense. Interesting!

You are moving on into a new stage of your life.* To dream that someone is saying goodbye to you, suggests that you are going on a journey of self-discovery. You are entering a new phase in your life. I didn't really think inception was confusing at all, just kind of a weird movie. Merry Christmas.
