bentnotbroken Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 New favorite moment. Waking up with rose pedals all around me and my favorite bagels. Having dinner with them and their SO and skating the night away. I love my kids:love:
BB07 Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Children have the most heart warming infectious laughs. I love hearing them. There is a video on YouTube of laughing quints...it makes me smile on those long days. I love that video!
BB07 Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 My granddaughter is 18 months old today. Her cuteness and her discovery of the world around her just amazes me. My heart just melts when ever I look at her.

Whatshername Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 (edited) I have 4..........all over 18 now. SO many precious memories! The oldest son, when he was little and could barely talk used to throw his hands up into the air to be picked up and would say "take care for me" M sons, about 6 and 8, made carnival type game board, with a hole for my 3 year old daughter to stick her head through. They threw wet sponges at her! She was a pretty good sport, laughing, enjoying being included in their fun....but eventually figured out it was not a reallygood thing. That same little girl, when 2.5 loved my friend's son. She was pretty bossy and always trying to kiss him and get him to dance with her. She would get so mad when he'd run from her, she'd stomp her little foot. We have a home video, and she is saying....dance Johnny, dance! Looking as feisty as can be! She was so upset, she ran over to her little sister(about 8 months old) and plants this big, HARD kiss on her forehead, bc she just didn't know what else to do)! My baby, when she was about 4, decided she HATED getting her picture taken. She would cover her face, hide, and even cry. Once when we were having professional pictures taken, her face got so red, oh my they were really a sight when we got them back. For the family photo, her little lips were drawn, eyes red. Today, she is seriously into photography and has probably 5000 pics of herself on her hard drive! Once, my boys "home aloned the babysitter. We didn't go out often(no wonder we divorced...lol) and they strung fishing wire(clear) across the steps leading upstairs several times and had placed marbles all over them too. hat girl never came back! Well, lots more.......but I miss the good old days when they were all underfoot. Edited February 16, 2011 by Whatshername
Tayla Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 My children are grown adults. WOW to think back at the tender moments, Thanks for opening this up for parents to share and enjoy the years. My eldest at the fond age of two loved bath time til it was time to wrap up in the fluffy towels. He once saw me wrap my head in a towel and he came out of the bathroom with the towel on his head,,,,He looks straight in the mirror and says Yikes!! I look like the Queen! then tossed the towel! I lost it in laughter My youngest son- Loved to play hide and seek, he'd pop out from cabinets and scare the b-g'z outta me! He loved it and I must say looking back it was funny....He was three or four at the time....and if I asked how he hid so well, he'd go...Geee mom I have the power to Dink! ( he heard cartoons that made the "dink" sound when someone would disappear and he thought for sure he had that special power)
