This is my first Christmas holiday without the ex since the breakup and it's been harder and harder the closer it gets to Christmas. The thought that she's happy with someone else that she met while we were together just tears me apart inside. I recently had to break NC in order to get some of my stuff back (which still hasn't happened) and I feel like I'm back at square one. I miss her so much again. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do or some comforting words I'd really appreciate it.

Juzzy Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 This is my first xmas without my ex in 6 years and it is killing me considering i even purchased her present before we broke up. it has been 2.5 weeks since we broke up and 1.5 weeks NC and to be honest i am feeling great, what i suggest you do is to just be with your friends i have been with my mates more in the past 2 weeks then i have in the past 6 months and it has only made me forget about the hurt. friends and family are what it is about and by keeping yourself busy and not talking bout your ex with anyone will only help you find a sense of calm and you will actively seek happiness from other people and things.
