I like lingerie to be like wrapping paper, pretty to look at and easy to remove.;)

I am all about vintage slips and nightgowns...recently I've tried looking around for some but they're expensive. I would love to own a few someday.

Tigress, if that's of interest, go to the Powder Room at the Fedora Lounge. I think you'll find some shopping tips there, as well as good discussion of the topic.

Also, if you like vintage foundation garment which can also 'function' as lingerie, Rago makes some good modern interpretations of classic styles at a moderate price. Girdlebound is one source for such items. If you're not particular about 'pre-owned' outwear, eBay is another good source of vintage items.

My next spouse will include enjoyment of such 'interests' as part of our 'fun'. I never did quite make that connection with my exW. Lesson learned.

Aw, thanks Carhill! I think I'll use the holidays as an excuse to finally buy something like this for myself. :bunny:

I'd think most guys would like it... as long as they aren't the ones paying for all of it. ;)

The way I see it is that while I am buying a gift for her I am really buying one for my eyes

Expanding on this topic...

My problem with lingerie is that I feel like if I don't fill it out like a Victoria's Secret model, I just feel totally self-conscious and out of the sexy times mood.

I'm by no means a porker but I have issues with the fact that my metabolism has slowed down with age and my tummy is no longer flat. (of course when I was younger I hated how skinny I was, but I digress).

Opinions from the guys on this?

My exW had a fold-over tummy and still looked great in flattering lingerie. Remember, it's not all-day wear; it's 15 minute wear. :)

Ha. I call that a "flab apron". :D I actually like to bite them if they are'nt tooooooo spilling over. Love handles, front and center.

Carhill and Frisky - remind me to hang out with you two more often! ;)

What man DOESN'T like a tummy to hold and touch?

Although not strictly lingerie, corselets handle the 'flab apron' quite nicely and also can serve to accentuate the hips and bust. My exW was a pear shape so still had a definable waistline even with the excess.

If the woman is comfortable, such a garment, with no panties and French stockings worn under an otherwise modest dress, can be quite alluring.

In the nightgown area, here's a classic look

I love lingerie, I think it's one of the fun parts of dressing up for men, ;) Nothing sexier than putting on a matching bra and thong (although I'm more a fan of the little lacy shorts) for your man :)

Also loving boy shorts, not the lacy kind.

I dislike thongs on the basis that it feels like a string of dental floss in between your butt cheeks.

Yeah, TBH, I always kinda looked at those things (thongs) when I did wash and wondered why my exW liked them so much. Different strokes...

I think it looks tacky when a girl is wearing a thong and she bends down or sits and you can see her thong strap like plumbers crack.

Love it. Variety is the spice of life. Crotchless body stockings... GRRRR!

Here's the JLo version of the catsuit. Meow. LOL. Doesn't float my boat but I'm probably in the minority.

I must admit I 'modified' one of the exW's catsuits LOL...

Not one of her most flattering looks I must admit. The torso is not quite right. She looks too thickwaisted - not a large enough hip-to-waist ratio. Perhaps a belt of some sort might have given her more definition.

I'm not a fan of the Christmas type lingerie, with all the furry excess crap. I do however, LOVE the slutty type of lingerie. I have a huge high heel fetish. Love fishnets, garters, thongs, the half bras. I'm not one to rip all that off, all that stays on during sex. As for the matching bras and panties, I love to see a woman early in the morning getting for work or at night getting ready to go out and running around in just that while she doing her hair & makeup in the mirror. I usually can't keep my hands to myself. Very much a turn on for me.
